Porcelain Disc Tester
The Porcelain Disc Tester is used to test individual discs in a lower voltage insulator string on energized transmission and distribution lines.

The Porcelain Disc Insulator Tester model #3782651U is equipped with a high dielectric, pressure-switch actuator assembly that makes physical, non-conductive contact with the porcelain disc insulators.
This tester indicates defective discs by an audible and visual indication without the need for any external device.
