How can span power be regenerated on the station side?
By using an external power supply and a holding coil model 7501-40, power can be regenerated onto the station side. This could be used to power external NCTE equipment.

** Resolution of a problem is made easier with a 751366 line test card. It is recommended to have one per site to make measurements easier. If you do not have one, troubleshooting is still possible, but more difficult for the technician.

When isolating a T1 line with a T1 card, a lot of errors occur, and occasionally, the system will not synchronize. Why is that?
There can be many reasons why bit errors occur on a T1 line:
a) It could be HDSL circuit needing a different isolation card (751239R2, 751339R2 or 751340R2).
b) A sealing current problem in the loop.
c) The loop may be experiencing crosstalk from the isolated pair coming from the CO side.
